Autumn & Winter Walking

Thursday 20 October 2016

As the late Autumn turns into early Winter the Sheep's Head Way offers another season to experience the spectacular scenery across the peninsula. We advise walkers to be adequately prepared and especially careful as the weather can turn suddenly and the daylight fades early. Due to frequent heavy rain the trails can become very slippery in places. In particular the Bantry Bay section of the Poet's Way and the Lighthouse Loop. Enjoy the view but watch your step!
